NCSU has highly active communities of researchers working on mathematical biology, infectious diseases and biomedical problems. We are ideally situated in the Research Triangle area, and have close collaborations with biologists and clinicians within NCSU and from Duke and UNC Chapel-Hill. Being 2-3 hours (drive) away from the ocean and mountains, the city of Raleigh offers diverse recreation opportunities.
Post-doc positions are available. If you are interested in what we do, please email me a description of your research interests, a CV, and 2-3 pdfs of your published/unpublished papers.
Highly motivated students interested in pursuing a PhD in mathematical modeling of viral infection, evolution and treatment (HIV, influenza, HCV) are welcome to drop me an email or stop by my office at 406E Cox Hall.
